The Justice Project - with Al Troove

  • Pope Mountain Arts 675 Birch Street Fort St. James, BC Canada (map)

Al Troove is better known around Fort St. James and Nak’azdli as Al Trampuh. Born and raised in Vanderhoof, A.T. studied classical composition in Winnipeg, followed by justice studies in Winnipeg and Ottawa. He’s been back in the area since 2018, playing at the Farmers’ Market and July 1st celebrations, giving music lessons at the Nak’azdli Youth Centre, street playing, and performing at church events. The songwriter developed various brands, including Al Troove Music, which focuses on political and nation-building music; themes of a better society; and instrumentals for both therapeutic well-being and fun.

The Justice Project will be presented through principles, poems, and song, on May 31st at Pope Mountain Arts. Recent international events in 2025 spurred several new songs. The main single in current development is WORLD, available as a demo track on YouTube.

Tickets are not required for this event. Admission is by donation (suggested $20).
