Stuart the Snake's Scavenger Hunt - ParticipAction Community Challenge

  • Pope Mountain Arts 675 Birch Street Fort St. James, BC Canada (map)

This all-ages event is a fun way to get moving in support of the ParticipAction Community Challenge. Registered participants (aka paid participants) will be issued a map to track their progress along the designated route as they look for pottery snakes. Travel along the route must be human-powered (i.e. walking, jogging, running, biking etc.). The snakes hidden in the first part of the route (in both directions) will be designated for any registered participants who are 10 or under to find.

Participating is easy:

  1. Register using the form below.

  2. E-transfer your $5 pp registration fee to popemountainarts@gmail.com. Note: same day registration will be $10 pp.

  3. Show up between 11 am and 12 pm on the day of the event to sign in. Registered participants will be issued the map and instructions. Anyone can participate in the walk, but only those who have paid a registration fee will be eligible to turn in a snake to win one of the pottery mugs.

  4. Registered participants who do not find a snake will still be eligible to enter a separate prize draw if they complete the full route.

This event will take place rain or shine.
