Performing nearly 200 shows a year across Canada and beyond, Mike Sixonate is a cornerstone of Newfoundland and Labrador’s music scene. His 2024 album Old Crow earned a MusicNL nomination for Celtic/Trad Artist of the Year, and his song The Fate of the Terra Nova was featured on Hudson and Rex in 2025. With two decades in the music industry, Mike is also an award-winning professional behind the scenes—working in radio, TV, production, and artist services. He currently co-chairs Grow Twillingate INC, a nonprofit that brings festivals, arts events, and workshops to central Newfoundland.
