Joan and Catherine are back with another sewing class! This time they will be teaching participants how to make one of each of the following projects: a “turtle mop”, a small cross-shoulder pouch, a microwave potato bag and a shopping tote.
This class is open to all levels, but assumes a basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine.
Participants will need to bring a sewing machine, cotton thread, straight pins or clips, scissors and a stitch ripper. A rotary cutting tool and mat, and sewing ruler are also handy to have, but there will be some available to use.
As this is an all-day class we recommend that participants bring their snacks/lunch/drinks with them. There are a limited selection of cold drinks ($2), tea ($ .50) and coffee pods ($1) available for purchase.
Space is limited. Please register on or before May 15th. Payment is required upon confirmation of registration.
